Bio
Dr. Ball graduated from Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine in 2007 after which he completed a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Bay Area Veterinary Specialist in San Leandro, CA. He then worked as an emergency doctor in Massachusetts before returning to Tufts for advanced training as an Emergency and Critical Care intern. He practiced emergency medicine at a specialty hospital in NY for 15 years prior to moving to NVS. His professional interests include trauma, fluid therapy and CPR.
In addition to his duties at NVS Dr. Ball is a RECOVER Certified Instructor in CPR. In this capacity, he trains area veterinarians and support staff in CPR.
When not at work he enjoys hiking, coaching youth soccer and spending time with his wife, a fellow veterinarian, and son.
