Bio
Dr. Yao grew up in Kaohsiung, Taiwan and immigrated to Orlando Florida with his older sister and mother when he was 12 years old. He graduated as a veterinarian from Ross University at St. Kitts and Nevis in 2022 and went into general practice in Boston, Massachusetts.
He moved to California to be with his girlfriend after she received a great veterinary job opportunity in the area.Dr. Yao’s area of interest is in dermatology and Chinese veterinary medicine and is working on acquiring his veterinary acupuncture and herbal medicine license.
Outside of work, Dr. Yao loves to spend lazy days at home with his two cats, Basmati and Ori. He also has a passion for world-building, working on his fantasy novels, and cooking.
