Bio
Dr. Sung received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Western University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. She completed her clinical rotations at Cornell University and Colorado State University. She then attended the Autonomous University of Barcelona, Spain where she obtained her internship certificate. Dr. Sung is also a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist. She opened Shatto Veterinary Center in 2016 in the heart of Koreatown, Los Angeles and has been treating dogs and cats here ever since.
Dr. Sung believes that the most important aspect of providing quality medical care for our furry friends is to forge a relationship built on trust and communication between the owners, animals, and doctors. She is passionate about advocating for animal rights and believes that nothing is more important than protecting the lives of animals who cannot speak for themselves.
