Bio
Dr. Sharon Westphal has been a part of the Southborough Veterinary Hospital since its early days when she and Dr. Ogden opened the practice in the basement of Dr. Westphal’s house! She is very proud of how the hospital has developed over the years and is especially grateful to all the many wonderful patients, families, and staff members who have been a part.
Dr. Westphal graduated from Boston University in 1991 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering. She continued her studies at the University of Pennsylvania, receiving her veterinary degree in 1995. After graduation, she completed a 13-month internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Angell Animal Medical Center.
Since that time, Dr. Westphal has enjoyed the lifelong learning that comes with being a veterinarian. She especially enjoys internal medicine topics, dermatology, and rabbit medicine.
In her free time, Dr. Westphal enjoys gardening, walking her dog, and spending time with family and friends.
