Bio
Dr. Johnson was raised in the Pacific Northwest and pursued her childhood dream of becoming a small animal Veterinarian. She graduated with cum laude honors in her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from both Oregon and Washington State Universities.
Dr. Johnson has worked during her career in Washington, California, and Hawaii. This experience has helped her appreciate the regional differences in infectious and parasitic diseases affecting our pets. Her areas of special interest are internal and geriatric medicine, as well as dermatology.
Dr. Johnson has worked as a relief Doctor at the Cat Clinic since 2005 and joined the team full time in 2021. She loves working with cats in a Feline–only setting, and is able to focus her special interest in Feline Medicine.
Dr. Johnson was voted in the top vet list of Seattle Met Magazine 2 years in a row.
She shares her home with her husband, and 2 cats – a young female tuxedo and her boyfriend, a brown tabby.
Outside of work she enjoys travel, cooking, reading, and outdoor recreation (swimming, walking, biking - and paddle boarding is her latest passion).
