Bio
Dr. Boyer is a 2014 graduate of Louisiana State University who also attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. As an eastern Kentucky native, she enjoys practicing in our rural community and has a broad spectrum of interests including surgery, internal medicine, emergency medicine, dermatology, and exotics/pocket pets.
When not at the clinic, Dr. Boyer can mostly be found reading, running, doing or drinking coffee. She, her husband Corey, and their two children enjoy staying active and caring for their many creatures including dogs, turtles, cats, geckos, and a revolving door of foster animals at times.
Dr. Boyer is very passionate about education and is always happy to answer questions about the "whys" of veterinary medicine. She also enjoys teaching those rotating through and thinking of pursuing careers in veterinary medicine.
