Bio
Dr. Marissa Sue joined the Rivergate family in 2012. She graduated from Wellesley College with a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Science and a specialization in marine biology. During her undergraduate training, she worked at the New England Aquarium in Boston as a diver, educator and researcher.
She has traveled to Costa Rica, Brazil, South Caicos and Belize to perform wildlife research. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania’s College of Veterinary Medicine and received a business certificate from Wharton Business School. She completed a rotating small animal surgical and medical internship at Fifth Avenue Veterinary Specialists and became a staff emergency clinician after her internship was completed.
Her professional goal is to provide compassionate and comprehensive medicine for her patients. She currently serves as the guest “veterinary expert” to SiriusXM’s Doctor Radio. Outside of work, she is an avid SCUBA diver, skier and loves exploring the city.
