Bio
Dr. Maria Velasco grew up in San Gabriel Valley. Her love of animals started early in life, and she aspired to be a Veterinarian. She attended Cal State Monterey Bay to obtain a bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology and became a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, CA. She is bilingual(fluent in Spanish).
She has a pet cat Frankie and a very energy filled dachshund Woody. In her free time, she enjoys going to the beach, hiking, watching tv, and spending time with her family.
