Bio
Dr. Madi Voigt grew up in Brighton, Michigan with her brother and two sisters. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!) where she majored in biological science. She also won a national championship as a member of UGA’s NCAA Division 1 equestrian team. From there, she traveled to North Carolina to receive her veterinary degree from North Carolina State University.
Dr. Voigt started her veterinary career in Charlotte, North Carolina prior to joining Western Carolina Regional Animal Hospital in January 2022. Her professional interests include general surgery, emergency, and internal medicine.
Dr. Voigt lives with her husband Jordan and their Great Dane Denali. They welcomed their daughter Rowan in the summer of 2021. In her free time, she enjoys staying active with activities like cycling, swimming, and hiking. She’s also a huge sushi fan, so be sure to recommend your favorite sushi spot the next time you see her!
