Bio
Dr. Becker received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Colorado State University in 1999 (with Dr. Patten) and completed a Specialty Veterinary Ophthalmology Internship in Loveland, CO. After several years in general practice, Dr. Becker returned to Colorado State University as an Assistant Professor to teach Veterinary Anatomy, Neurobiology, and Abdominal Ultrasound in the professional veterinary program.
After completing a year-long Abdominal Ultrasound Certification, Dr. Becker joined St. Michaels to pursue her interests in team-based patient care, ultrasonography, ophthalmology, and access to veterinary care.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Becker enjoys spending time with her husband Ken, their three daughters and three grand-daughters. As a family, they enjoy hiking with their AussieDoodles (Noel and Bree), golfing, skiing, paddleboarding, and horseback riding. Dr. Becker’s community participation includes Weld County FFA, Windsor High School Music Boosters, and mentoring veterinary students.
