Bio
Dr. Jen Lauer has wanted to be a veterinarian since she was about 5 years old. Her parents own and train Standardbred horses, which sparked her interest at a young age. Growing up, she always had many pets, including horses, cats, dogs, and rabbits.
Jen grew up in New Jersey. She attended East Stroudsburg University for her undergraduate studies, graduating with a B.S. in Biology and minor in Chemistry in 2017. She went to Michigan State University for veterinary school and graduated with her Degree of Veterinary Medicine in 2022.
Dr. Lauer’s interests include feline medicine, nutrition, preventative care, and client education. She loves talking to clients and helping them do the best they can for their furry family members. Dr. Lauer is also Fear Free certified and strives to make every pet feel as comfortable as possible during their visit.
In her free time, Jen enjoys hiking, kayaking, swimming, traveling, and spending time outdoors with her fiancé. They currently have 2 cats, Noodle and Spaghetti, who like to join on all their adventures.
