Bio
Dr. McWaters has been a practicing veterinarian for over 25 years with a special interest in oncology and internal medicine. In 1995, she graduated with highest honors with a BS in Animal Science from NMSU, before graduating Magna Cum Laude from CSU with DVM in 1999.
She has 6 children aged 8 to 20, all of whom were adopted from Foster Care in Arizona. Dr. McWaters also has 6 fur babies (3 dogs and 3 cats). She loves all dogs and cats but has a soft spot for Golden Retrievers, small fuzzy dogs, and orange tabby cats.
Dr. McWaters loves to make a real connection with her clients and enjoys sharing funny stories from her many years practicing as a veterinarian.
In her spare time, she loves to cook and has a strong passion for eating chocolate!
