Dr. Heath Manning has recently joined Bluegrass Equine Surgery here in Versailles, KY. Born and raised in Kentucky- horses were always present in Dr. Manning’s life but he was not sure right away that was what he wanted to do for his whole like. He attended his undergraduate at Georgia Southern University and felt naturally drawn to learning veterinary medicine, and proceeded to attend vet school at Ross University. After vet school, Dr. Manning was an intern at Cornell Ruffian Equine Specialists in New York, interned at Texas A&M University and completed his surgical residency at Texas A&M University. He specializes in orthopedic surgeries and has particular interest in fracture repairs and airway surgeries.
