Bio
Dr. Frieda Opielski graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 2002. She was born and raised in Hunterdon County, NJ (farm country!) Prior to joining WCVMC she worked at a small animal practice in New Jersey, where she developed a love for Internal Medicine and Surgery.
She spent several years volunteering with RAVS (a program of the Humane Society of the United States) which brings free veterinary services to communities where poverty and geographic isolation make regular veterinary care inaccessible. Dr. Opielski lives with her husband, two boys, and Labrador Retriever Kelsey. You may run into her and her family on one of the local hiking trails, baseball/soccer fields, or ski slopes!
