Bio
Dr. Elizabeth Green grew up in southeast Missouri where her family entertained all types of pets and wildlife in her home. She had a huge love of reading, especially books about animals, science, and nature. Over time, her passion for animals and medicine let to her career goal of becoming a veterinarian. She graduated with her B.S. of Animal Science from University of Missouri while working with dogs with congenital diseases and completing wild bat conservation research. She continued her education at University of Missouri completing her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Green’s professional interests include surgery, dermatology, and internal medicine. As a Fear-Free certified professional, she will bring the same compassionate care our clients and patients expect to at AHNA.
Outside work, Dr. Green enjoys mountain biking, riding horses, reading, and sketching. She has 2 dogs, Oliver and Penny, a tuxedo cat named Mitch and a freshwater aquarium.
