Bio
Dr. Elissa Mopper earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Tufts University, after completing a Bachelor’s in Philosophy at Grinnell College. For the past eight years, Dr. Mopper has been living in New Zealand, where she initially worked as a mixed animal practitioner before shifting focus to companion animal medicine. Her medical interests include preventative care, ultrasonography, and internal medicine.
Now back in her home state of New York, she resides with her husband and two dogs, Ember and Coal, in the local town of Pound Ridge. When not caring for animals, she enjoys hiking scenic trails, gardening, experimenting in the kitchen, and going to the theatre.
