Bio
Dr. Astrin was born and raised here in Port Jefferson. She attended Penn State University for her undergraduate studies where she majored in Animal Science. She then traveled to the beautiful island of Grenada to study Veterinary Medicine at St. George's University.
She completed her clinical year at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and graduated in June of 2022.
She is passionate about all areas of veterinary medicine but she has a particular interest in soft tissue surgery, neurology, and cardiology.
In her free time, you can find her out and about with her three dogs, Arrigo, Abby, and Arthur, as well as her two cats, Kitty and Tux.
