Bio
Dr. Brittany Sholes was born and raised in Virginia. She earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine. She completed a one-year rotating internship in emergency and small animal medicine at the Regional Veterinary Referral Center.
Following this, she enjoyed two years in general practice before returning to emergency medicine and critical care. Her special interests include abdominal ultrasound, surgery, wound care, ophthalmic emergencies, and diabetic management.
In her free time, she enjoys hiking with her pitbull mix (Andi) and husky mix (Kota), reading books, and spending time with friends and family.
