Bio
Ashley DeAtley is originally from a small town in northern Kentucky. For 8 years she lived in Alabama where she received her bachelor’s degree in Animal Science through the College of Agriculture and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine through the College of Veterinary Medicine at Auburn University. Throughout her undergraduate years, Dr. DeAtley worked as a veterinary and research assistant, and once in veterinary school she began working as a university tour guide and an anatomy lab assistant.
After graduation, she packed up her house and moved to California where she started her career in Orange County and then moved up to Marina del Rey. Within the veterinary field, her key interests lie in feline medicine, dentistry, diagnostic imaging and preventative medicine. She is also USDA Accredited and has experience with both interstate and international health certificates. She has been with Shane Vet since 2020.
In her free time she enjoys going to the beach, traveling, painting, spending time with her husband and two amazing kids, and her crazy cat.
