Bio
Dr. Aimee Leigh Monek is originally from “Cowboy Town” Davie, Florida. She graduated cum laude from the University of Florida with a degree in Pre-professional Biology, then continued on to Auburn University to earn her doctorate in veterinary medicine. Upon graduation from veterinary school, she completed her certification in veterinary acupuncture at Chi University.
Dr. Monek is committed to being an advocate for her patients and providing refined, comprehensive health care for a wide array of species. Her professional interests include diagnostic imaging, equine sports medicine, ophthalmology, and geriatric wellness.
Dr. Monek is currently an active member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the American Association of Equine Practitioners, the American Association of Bovine Practitioners, and the American Quarter Horse Association. Her personal interests include horseback riding, music, and design.
