Dr. de Vlaming graduated with honors from undergraduate and graduate training (BS, MS, and DVM), with her research on mitral valve disease published in Nature. With a Dutch heritage, she completed her Masters in the Netherlands before pursuing veterinary medicine. Lives locally with her husband and cat. Enjoys spending time outdoors, being with family, and dancing.
